Milk Paint

Our milk paint is a re-creation of an ancient formula used for centuries before the sale of commercially made paints. It has an authentic finish for use in the restoration of antiques or in the refinishing of vintage furniture. It comes in rich historical colors that are durable and do not fade. Also, since our real milk paint is made from elements that pre-date the use of petrochemicals and other toxic bases and solvents, it is biodegradable, non-toxic, and odor-free when dry.

Add Extra Bond when painting over a nonporous or previously finished/painted piece of furniture. The Extra  Bond will ensure adhesion and give you better control over chipping. We highly recommend to always have the Extra Bond on hand when using milk paint.  Milk paint is known for its unpredictability when not using the Extra Bond when painting over sealed or painted wood.
